Their team of skilled professionals is trained in the latest techniques and trends in modern barbering and men’s grooming, en suring top-notch service and a sense of camaraderie that elevates the traditional grooming routine.
As a company, we approached the design and development of the custom mobile app for Zeus Barber Shop with the utmost attention to detail. Understanding that Zeus Barber Shop sets the benchmark for premium service and experience, we knew the app had to reflect the same high standards. Every feature, from booking appointments to managing client preferences, was thoughtfully crafted to ensure seamless integration with the barbershop’s operations.
Design and User Experience (UX)
A key part of the app’s development was ensuring an effortless and refined user experience, particularly when it came to the reservation system. We designed the booking UX to be as smooth and intuitive as possible, allowing clients to reserve their appointments quickly and efficiently. However, we also maintained a high level of flexibility to cater to a diverse range of clients—from long-time regulars to first-time visitors. The app enables users to select specific services, stylists, and times with ease, while also offering options for rescheduling or adjusting appointments without hassle. This balance of simplicity and customization ensures that every client, no matter their needs, can experience a seamless booking process that complements the exceptional service Zeus Barber Shop is known for.
Integration with Third-Party Systems
Zeus Barber Shop uses Altegio for managing their CRM, reservations, warehouse, and billing operations. To ensure seamless communication between the app and Zeus’s internal systems, we built a custom integration with Altegio. This integration allows our middleware to provide real-time updates and essential information to the mobile app, such as appointment availability and client data. It also enables the app to send updates back to Zeus’s systems, ensuring that their CRM, inventory, and billing systems are consistently up to date. This ensures smooth operations and enhances the overall customer experience.
Technology Stack
To ensure high performance and seamless user experience across platforms, we utilized Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform to build native apps for both iOS and Android, while maintaining a single codebase. This approach allows us to deliver native performance and user interface consistency across devices, while significantly simplifying future support and maintenance. Additionally, we developed the middleware using Kotlin Multiplatform and Ktor, which enables efficient and scalable communication between the app and backend services. The middleware is hosted on Google Cloud, ensuring reliability and flexibility for future growth and feature expansions.
The design and development of the Zeus Barber Shop app was both an exciting and challenging project for our team.
